About

We are a team from High Street Holywood, Presbyterian Church. This summer we are embarking on a mission trip to Cochabamba, Bolivia (South America, for those who are geograpically challenged!)

The Team

(click name for profile)

High Street currently supports Marcos and Gwen Quinteros and their family. God has given them the vision of working in Cochabamba, Bolivia, to open a community centre where the social and spiritual needs of the barrio of Sumumpaya can be met. They recently had their one year anniversary of the church, La Corona (The Crown).

The Team is going out to work alongside the church giving them help and support in any way we can. God willing and volcanic ash depending (which is in Gods will) we intend to depart from Northern Ireland on the 12th July arriving back on the 28th August!

Hi Rachel! I am one of the team leaders and we would love to meet up with you when we are in bolivia. We will be there from 13th (leave NI on 12th) and are spending 2 weeks staying with Marcos and Gwen. They went to our church while they were living in Northern Ireland so we are very excited about going out to see them.

    Please stay in touch!

Hi, I am planning a trip to Marcos and Gwen for 3 weeks in September. I am hoping to do some work in the community centre, and talk to hospital staff about decision making for cancer patients. It will be part of my PhD research. I would appreciate the chance to meet up with you before you go. I can be contacted at Marie Curie, 02890 882000, or I can come to a church service some Sunday morning or evening.

    Many thanks
    Audrey
